Joomla  Security Tasks 

There are some security tasks that we have to implement.

• use a proper host company
• to verify that the preinstallation test has only Green 
• to verify that Recommended Joomla settings are used
•  During the installation change the Admin user name 
• During the installation change the default prefix of the tables of the database
•  use the recommended file and folder permissions from Joomla (default)
• use a plugin to change path MYSITE/administrator/index.php to another path MYSITE/administrator/index.php?myword  hacker is not going to know from where to log in to the administrator area
• use a firewall
•  update the plugins, the theme, and the core Joomla regularly (always BACKUP AND THEN UPDATE) 
• scan WordPress for malware and bugs
• delete not used plugins and themes
• use a plugin for SQL Injection
• Backup the site often

 There are plugins that search the site for bugs or even check its security level, use them.
