WP Database Optimize

You must delete the revisions (old versions of post)

Tune the tables.

Rebuild the indexes.

You can use plugins like

WP-Optimize – Cache, Clean, Compress

And the PHPMYadmin has the option in the bottom-center, just select all tables and then select optimize.
