How to install and uninstall extensions in Joomla • Joomla's true power can be realized with the vast number of extensions. • Go to extensions -: Click Install/Uninstall option. • There are 3 ways to make a choice for installation of extension: 1) Upload a package file you've already downloaded on your computer. Click on browse and open the file from the location on which it is saved. The plugin will be installed. 2) Provide Joomla path to folder containing the extracted contents of the install package. 3) Provide Joomla with URL to the package containing the extension. • If you've found the extension's URL and copied to clipboard. It can be directly selected and pasted over the existing contents in the box, if any. • For uninstalling, click components and click the button next to component. Scroll right and click on uninstall button at the top. Component will be uninstalled.
