Kunena is a native Joomla forum and communications component written in PHP. Kunena enables forums, bulletin board, support forums, discussions and comments for a Joomla base website.
The name Kunena is from a Swahili word meaning, “to speak”. It was derived from the former Fireboard forum with new and previous developers that include several Joomla core developers.
